There is a tourist bus to the south gate of Huangshan Scenic Area at Huangshan North Station. Vehicles are restricted from entering Huangshan Scenic Area, and you need to take the scenic area's special shuttle bus at the scenic area transfer center.

    Wow this was a fabulous place. I actually expected it to be very sub-par after reading some of the reviews. I cant imagine what some people must be expecting at the top of a mountain, but this hotel was a little piece of heaven. The beds were SO comfortable with thick fluffy comforters. Beautiful view out of our big windows. Super nice bathroom - everything really was top notch!! Loved the huge thick red jackets and large umbrellas they provide guests for the bad weather or cold early mornings - so great! Great shower and towels and all very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was fine - I mean, you are on top of the world and dining out! It may be higher priced than many in China but given the location - it has many reasonable choices and you can always order less than usual.I have never seen a larger bowl of fried rice anywhere in my 2 months in china - could have fed 6 people and there were only 2 of us. Fantastic choice with the best views for sunrise or sunset you could ask for. You DO need to be able to walk up many steep stairs from the gondola to get to the hotel. This is NOT for someone who cant climb a few hundred stairs. But it thats not a problem, you will love it.
